That’s New Street, was the main shopping st until the bullring opened . It became pedestrianised, when I first arrived in Brum in 1972 it was full of traffic! Love Waggamamma , noodles etc. it is the biggest Primark in Europe! The silver building is Selfridges.

I'm sure I once saw something about the smallest woman in the UK a museum, and they had a model of her. It was at Ripley's in Blackpool, but I can't remember if it was the same person as the grave. Very interesting! Wow I never knew that about New Street Station and the Bull Ring. That is fantastic, I love things like that with unusual discoveries and haunted histories. From the look of it, the Primark looks very similar to any of the bigger ones, like the one in Liverpool etc (apart from the Disney Cafe, which actually does look quite good!)

7:09 That building used to be Ritzy Nightclub, home of Sundissential all day rave. Sunday mornings at 11am that place would have 2000 ravers inside. Great days!

First time i went to Birmingham was on a National Express coach to down south. We stopped there temporarily and explored the city for half an hour. Saw someone get mugged and got hassled by people the entire time. Not for me im afraid unless its changed.

Re the needles think if some poor child picked that up not knowing what it was and stabbed them selves. Shame that people that have no respect , just don’t think of dangers to others. Guess that would be expecting to much really., sadly in areas high for this sort of this it’s normal. I think the bull ring was built about 1965 ish. I remember going when it was first built. Not really to sure. It’s a guess. I thought I was about 10 ish when we went there. It was nice in those days.
