I loved the layering of powerful sound but also very gentle and soft pieces. Like nature is sometimes gentle, caring and sometimes strong, powerful and even destructive. Wardruna always reminds us that our spiritual connection to nature is inevitable - and we can feel it, right?

If Im not mistaken the filming location is primarily in Rondane if not entirely and this song was full force of nature from the moment Einar draws the first sigh till the very end of the song

I love it when you bring these special music genres in. Yeah, the sound of the Lurr is very powerful, earthy, and i think most people, when they hear it, will feel a deep grounding - like with the australian didgeridoo. The Lurr was said to be used as a signalhorn to call for war, but was also used in ceremonies.

First time I've heard of Wardruna. This was really beautiful in every way. A feast for the senses. 😊 I'll have to chk out more from them & add them to similar in my playlist. I'm hyped af for this album. It's going to have "Lyfjaberg," which the band released in 2020 as a bit of musical ritual for the world during the pandemic. It comes out this Saturday.
