Watch "Bottle Shock", great movie about the Paris Tasting and Stephen Spurrier. The late, great Alan Richman plays Spurrier, it's worth watching just for him

Long ago and far away my wife and I would fire up the VW van drive to Napa wine taste for a week and then fill it up with cases Cask 23 from Stags Leap. And lots of good stuff from other places. Then we went home and drank the stuff. Yea it is good to live in magic times. I can't afford the stuff anymore....damn.
