I was going to give up on learning astrology too a few years ago because my TOB was wrong. So happy I didn't because as I continued to watch videos and learn, and used an ephemeris, I rectified my own time of birth. WOW, mind blown now!!

for me its a problem not because of the birth time but because some sites show me different things. one says I have cancer as the ascendant and another one that I am Leo. and not only, mars is either in the sixth house or seventh house

@@annamarie3288 correct! Vedic/Indian astrology uses sidereal, while Western Astrology uses tropical. Kapiel uses Indian astrology sidereal technique.

For traumatic events, D30 (Trimsamsa) chart would be corrected. I'm curious about the divisional chart responsible for introduction to astrology. Would it be D9 / D20 / D24 / D60? I've noted the dasha-antardasha for that for myself.

In his book, he goes over D-4 for relocation, including foreign relocation; D-7 for children; D-9 for marriage; D-10 for career; D-24 for education; and D-60 as a general all-purpose divisional chart, much like the D-1. Using another system of astrology, Hellenistic, one would release from the Lot/Part of Fortune for physical things like accidents and traumatic events, and from the Lot/Part of Spirit for career and life callings. Zodiacal Releasing is a time lord system, very much like chara dasha, but the times are fixed, so some signs will have loosening of the bonds, LB, where if you start with an Aquarius time period, instead of starting out with Aquarius again after Capricorn, it jumps to Leo, the opposite sign. In April 1989, releasing from Spirit, I had a Level 2, similar to antardasha in Vedic astrology, LB in Sagittarius through March 1990. I got into astrology during the summer of 1989. Hellenistic uses whole-sign houses too, but most practitioners use the tropical zodiac. One of the planets I have in Sagittarius in the 3rd house is Mercury. At the time I was running Level 1 Gemini; I was born with Spirit in Gemini, so instead of starting over with Gemini all over again after Taurus, Level 2 jumped from Taurus to Sagittarius, and thus I had a loosening of the bonds in Sagittarius. When I was learning about Zodiacal Releasing, I found out Robert Hand had the same thing happen when he first got into astrology. He was 17 when he first got into astrology and he had an LB in Sagittarius, but in a different house and still involving Mercury in Sagittarius. The Hellenic Lots / Arabic Parts aren't dependent on Ascendant sign, but one could also use them to rectify birth time. I have my Lot of Spirit at about 5 degrees Gemini, so I couldn't adjust my birth time for much earlier or the sign would change. Robert Hand has his Lot of Spirit at about 13 degrees Gemini in his chart, so his birth time could go quite far either way.

I have rectified charts by dasa periods of marriage birth etc and was able to get the rising sign right but I could Not get the proper degree or constellation by doing this. I could Not get subdivional charts by this method but only the correct rising sign. My own birth time must be close because dasa periods seem to be right on the money with timing.

That's why it's very confusing..plus if I have Aries as my ascendant I have Venus and Mercury in 1st house. So the traits of both the padas is reflecting ..

Hmmm I had a similar experience with Gemini ascendant. I feel strongly that it’s correct but Indian astro says otherwise. Maybe the aspects to Mercury are what makes me feel more Gemini idk
