Our all girl rock band in Int'l Falls MN played "Birtha". Listen to "Rock Me" by Birtha. also check out Fanny an all girl band. "I've Had It". We played many of the songs from these women. northern minnesota our band was "An'a Pearl" with Judy on the bass, Dixie on the piano/organ, Sue and Sheri on guitar and me, Kathy Stadum, on the drums. Rock on!!

In the early 70's Birtha were my heros. I wish these four women knew how much they kept my head together back then. I loved this group and still do - thankfully their two records are available on CD!!! Does anyone know where Liver Favela the drummer is today? She was a great inspiration for me.

Liver the drummer was kick butt. We played a gig with them at The Rush Up in Chicago back in 1972. Liver took lessons from the same guy that taught David Geribaldi, Sandy Mckey and a bunch of gr8 drummers from the bay area

saw birtha at the peachtree festival in rockingham in 1972. well, they kicked it. had never heard of them and just wasn't expecting what we got.

finally some Birtha music on you tube...one of the most underrated band ever...they were musically and thecnically very gifted...I love particulary the drumming (I am a drummer)...now would someone give as a true video?! it would awesome!
