Unfortunately I had to share my birthdays with my little brother because we share the same month. My birthday is Feb 5 and his is Feb 27th. I am 10 years older than him 😂 imagine being 12 sharing your bday with a 2 yr old lol… on Feb 27th. After that, I don’t remember nothing except a “happy birthday.” Didn’t celebrate my birthday again until I was 20 when my college friends threw me a surprise birthday party. One of the best things people have ever done for me!

I didn't celebrate birthdays as a kid. I got gestures here and there but we were poor and since I was rhe oldest and my siblings had birthdays close by, I had to sacrifice a lot for them. Now I have 3 kids and I have started a tradition to take them out and buy them a gift and get the other 2 a token gift so everyone is content. My birthday is tomorrow and I still think of it as a regular day. But this year I gave myself the gift of therapy. I start tomorrow on my 32nd birthday.
