Sandy is a wonderful teacher, the fault was my own, not hers. There are four other backgrounds included in the class that I still have never tried, but I think I will soon. I don't know what the background looked like from the class, but the one you created looks great and that's why I decided to watch your video. I have a question for you since you still use Copics. I've been having several of my Copic sketch going completely bone dry. I have done research and discovered this a growing problem. It seems like it's my newer markers that are having this problem. I only have a few original markers that have not had that problem, so I'm thinking of just getting those in the future. Have you had any experience with this? I know you can get brush nibs for the original, but I don't think I tried any of those yet. I have tried the bullet nibs in place of the chisel tip on the sketch and like them. I love the colors you used and of course love under the sea scene cards.

I’ve heard that the newer markers have gone down in quality as the children of the owners have taken over the business and made some changes. I haven’t ordered any markers in maybe a year or more, just refills, so I haven’t experienced this too much for myself. I did have it happen twice but I contacted the company I ordered from immediately, emailed them pictures as proof, and they sent me new ones.It’s such a shame that this is happening and I’m hoping the company will listen to its customer feedback and make corrections as needed. I don’t really have any answers for you, but I do understand your frustration.

I too have had this same problem.... my original set was a set of Copic Ciao's and none went dry in like over a two year period! Slowly, I have been upgrading them bit by bit to sketch and it seems as if the caps don't always seal or fit perfectly and several of my sketch randomly here and there just end up dry out of no where; not on #s I use frequently! It's sooooo disheartening as they are so expensive and such a beloved possession of mine. I thought I was going crazy!?!
