Okay so let’s talk about everything that’s gone down since my posting this video last week. I think it’s a little needed because in my 13 year creator career and 7 years on KZbin I’ve never been part of any controversy or problematic situation per se. So this is new to even me & I need to get this out of my system with as much honesty as I have in me. Aditi and I have been good friends for a little while, and have great chemistry as girlfriends irrespective of the presence of a camera or not. We collaborated for the first time in Jan 2024 and this being our second collab, we decided to do a mystery box challenge for each other between both our birthdays. The budget we set for each other was 5000/- Each of us had a couple of weeks before sending out the hampers to each other which we aimed to do on the same day. This is quite common generally speaking on mystery boxes so one person does not see the other ‘mystery box’ without also sending hers. The aim is to pretty much have it sent out, shot and uploaded at the same time. Unfortunately, I fell sick as I have been through most of may and June, and Aditi graciously offered me to postpone the video altogether - I said no. I said no because she was traveling 2 days after the shoot date we had set for each other and this was going to be one of the videos that goes up while she was out of the country. I didn’t want to bail on her last minute and have her miss an upload on my account (uploads and consistency of uploads are important to content creators) and so I rushed the job at my end and sent out the box. Hindsight is 2020 so I guess it would have been better for ME to bail on her instead of do a quicker job of the whole process. The issues in the comments however aren’t about just one box being better than the other. That Aditi chose to overspend is a gesture out of love and kindness, but comparing two people who had a SET spend limit with one who chooses to exceed that is something that has shocked me. In the past few days I’ve been name called things I’ve never been described as in my life: chindi, cheap, taker etc etc. And that only goes to show that one constantly needs to be competitive instead of just do things in a flow of it even if it’s just for show on the internet. Even between friends who don’t see things with a competitive lens. Character assassinations have become so casual on the internet. That my rushed job (which I reiterate, was quite an average job considering everything - and even more so in comparison) seems like a “cheap” gift? The value of my mystery boxes (and saying this on the internet is what feels cheap to justify) was a little above the set budget. But I’m being blamed because someone else chose to go above and beyond out of their own free will? How’s that fair? I’ve seen a lot of comments about why I didn’t send full size perfumes from my own brand to Aditi and just “samples”. So to clarify this point in particular: it’s called a travel kit on our website (we don’t have samples as a brand in general) and the reason I chose this is because I knew Aditi was traveling 2 days after filming the video. And this would be useful to her there. For those who think this was a cheap way to get publicity for my brand, let me clearly say this: we don’t need this kind of publicity. Wearified as a brand sends PR packages to Aditi whenever we have a launch. So I definitely didn’t need to do THIS for “publicity”. I debated putting up this elaborate post because I’ve realised that clarifications can seem like justifications or excuses so easily because everyone has their own biases, more so tweens who think I need to compensate my friend for the box with another luxury box or return the box to her. But the truth is that every derogatory, character assassinating, factually false remark leaves a scar on someone who it’s about when all they’re doing is THEIR BEST at a given point in time. I’m privileged to have the life I live, yes, but I’ve also worked VERY hard to be here. So I didn’t want to take things for granted that this “controversy” will just pass on with time. I wanted to be honest and say my honest truth. That Aditi’s box was undoubtedly far superior to my own. There was thought and love and effort galore. But it shouldn’t come down to character assassinations because that’s not who we should be as a people. Will I do another mystery box with someone else? I don’t know. I feel nervous enough as it is during collabs like these like I mentioned in the video (fairly so, clearly) but on a moral basis, the time hasn’t justified the crime and we need to learn to lead with more grace and kindness and constructive criticism rather than pure hatred. It only shows who you are by the end of it. Thank you for your time.

You don’t know how to give. You only take. The truth hurts but you have to accept the fact that the gifts you have given are very CHEAP and POOR QUALITY products. It doesn’t matter that you haven’t done this before or you were not feeling well BUT you received so many amazing mysteries boxes from your subscribers in the past and should know how to create one. I have a few points to address regarding the criticism of Anam's choices for the mystery box: 1. There was a budget that both participants exceeded, but there should be limits. If the budget is 5k, going up to 7k might be acceptable, but Aditi went way beyond that, which isn't Anam's fault. 2. In my opinion, money can quickly ruin friendships, and there should be boundaries. Aditi tends to go overboard, as we saw in her friendship with Charco. They had conflicts despite all the luxurious gifts. Friends shouldn't use money to show love-this is just my opinion. 3. Aditi's habit of giving extravagant gifts seems like she's trying too hard to befriend Anam. She mentioned wanting to move to Mumbai, and it's clear that Mridul, Mansi, and their group have already distanced themselves from her friendship with Mau, even subtly mocking her in a video. So this seemed like a desperate attempt from Aditi's end Only spilling facts here 😏
