Lol I just celebrated my birthday in Tulum too. I’m 23 and this is the first birthday I’ve ever gone out of my way to celebrate. It’s always been gloom for me mostly because I’ve literally been snowed in on every birthday. I’m also learning how to accept gifts because historically it made me feel really uncomfortable and self centered, but I’ve realized it hurts the person trying to give something to me for me to be so resistant.
