Khudiram Bose (also Known as Khudiram Basu) (3 December 1889 - 11 August 1908) was an Indian revolutionary from the Bengal Presidency who opposed British rule in India. For his role in the Muzaffarpur Conspiracy case along with Prafulla Chaki, he was sentenced to death and subsequently executed, making him one of the youngest martyrs of India's freedom movement.
Khudiram, along with Prafulla Chaki, tried to kill a British judge, Magistrate Douglas Kingsford, by throwing a bomb into the car they suspected was the man inside.
Magistrate Kingsford, however, was in a different car and the bomb was thrown, killing two British women. Prafulla Chaki committed suicide before arrest. Khudiram was arrested and triedled for the murders of the two women, eventually sentenced to death. He was one of the first Indian revolutionaries in Bengal to be executed by the British.
At the time of hanging, Khudiram was 18 years, 8 months and 11 days, 10 hours old making him India's second youngest revolutionary.
