It was an arranged marriage cuz her mother babita was the one who ruined and disturbed her life...first of all her mom intefeared in her engagement with abhishek bacchan and made karishma marry sanjay kapoor just for money eventhough she wasn't a successful actress and then they got divorced also due to their ugly fight... And sanjay never deserves her or any woman because I never saw him smiling in this video. And one truth about her mother babita is she has a filthy habit of gambling and made karishma marry sanjay for just for money.
