Fabulous video. I grew up in the south and we had this gravy on everything! Waiting for the biscuits to come out of the oven and that is our lunch today. This sausage gravy tastes like the gravy my grandma made in Virginia. I also added a pinch of salt. Look forward to the next video.

Well, it’s heart attack week at my place. Be doing that hash brown omelettes, the grilled clubs, and this..... Incredible and never pretentious. Easy ingredients to get and simplified instructions make these recipes too good. Who needs smoked paprika from the northeast foothills of Turkey marinated in BS???? Fantastic meal.... Denny's the restaurant chain served a meal called "Country Scramble" it was cheap and fast.. Served in a boat bowl two biscuits, covered with scrambled eggs and topped with sausage gravy. It was a great way to start day...

Great video. Even though there's enough salt in the sausage I still salt and it does help with the flavor. I used to think the same thing because I'm over sensitive to salt but it helps bring out flavor.

I prefer Jimmy Dean hot, but will throw in some crushed red pepper flakes in to the gravy when using regular sausage. I'm surprised ya found canned biscuits! They have been kinda scarce down here for awhile. Just recently discovered your channel. I need to do some more exploring of it. My griddle and grill is under 3 feet of snow.😖

If it tastes good, then you did a good job. I make mine a bit different. I always make my biscuits first and their always from scratch. I hate Grands. After biscuits are done, I put them in a bowl and cover with a clean dish towel. Then I make the gravy. I make a few pieces of bacon and save the grease. I add a little sausage and mash it with a fork till done. Then add a slice or 2 of butter, then flour and stir. When its mixed well then I add the Milk, salt, pepper and a splash or 2 of worcestershire sauce. Pour in a glass bowl when done, then make the eggs. A spoon or so of Golden Eagle table Syrup on the side and fresh coffee. That does it for me...
