The good Bishop should have quoted Leviticus 19:33-34 and appealed to Trump’s claim to be a believer in God, and that of his followers that the US is a so-called “Christian nation.” The passage reads, “And if a stranger dwells with you in your land, you shall not mistreat him. The stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as one born among you.”
