1. Define your calling Define your message - your message, identity & voice Define your purpose Define your mission - stay with your peculiarity, don’t pursue popularity 2. Maintain boundaries & jurisdictions - what you’re NOT called to preach don’t do though you believe. Run away from what’s not given to you (John 6:15) 3. Don’t pursue many things at the same time - do only what your focus can manage 4. Patiently endure in your pursuit - Job 8:7; Exodus 23:30; James 5:7. If you avoid process, you’ll miss product. For precious fruit, have lonnng patience. It may appear that you don’t have effect in your assignment, but keep at it. Habakkuk 2:3 5. Avoid comparison - rejoice with others but be patient for yours. It a game of fools (2 Corinthians 6. Magnify your office - every calling has the potential to be great. No ministry call is inferior (Romans 11:13; Job 12:3) 7. Be business minded in your calling - 1 Thessalonians 4:11. Busy with focus = business
