This was LONG overdue Glad to see God use Bishop Hankerson to minister to the Body.. Being accessible to the people is what you are called to do no matter what your title is. This is what the people need. Most preachers don't minister like this to their local congregations anymore and the saints need this every now and the. Glad he woke up all those no praising deep looking around at everybody else, dead women, ministers, pastors and bishops sitting on the platform being and looking and wonderful. Think that when these people become elevated with titles, they become too dignified to praise God and as well forget what they are called to do is serve the people. This is what COGIC was known for. Bring back the old path!! God restore 100-fold back to Bishop for his willingness to be used.

No the DID NOT! I challenge this guy on a blog before about his works in evangelism. He claimed the Church was responsible for thousands of people getting saved. And when I asked him to give just one example of one encounter where they preached the gospel and individual heard and believed, HE COULD NOT GIVE ONE ENCOUNTER. All this church is about is MONEY, SEX and ABUSE. Their pulpits are DRY places. Their altars are useless. Their songs are worldly and carnal. Their outward appearance is immodest. This is an apostate church. It is a dead church.

Yes. Each year, they go outside of the building and minister to the community. They preach and give food, clothes and other things to bless the city. Over 800 people gave their lives to Christ this year in this convocation. God bless you.

They have a community event at the start of Convocation called Christmas in November where they give clothes, food , etc.. to families from the community who come. They also evangelize during that event and have health fair, job fair. As for the actual Convocation activities and services they are for Cogic members to come together from all over the world to fellowship and network. To answer your direct question NO they don't go on Beale Street to preach. Yes all of the preaching takes place in a building but anyone is welcome to come to the services. Local churches and ministries should already be hitting the streets. Convocation is a time to come together and handle the business of the Church.
