Great sermon. A valuable insight on COGIC history. With a leadership change imminent, the church will do well to heed this sermon’s advice. BTW I did not know they had services at 3:30 pm and I didn’t know Christmas came before Labor Day. (September 2?)

It was awesome seeing all the churches under the Memphis Cogic jurisdiction worshipping together along with Bishop Patterson father being there as well. This sermon was preached in September 1989 but coincided with a message of the story of our SAVIOR being with us always in the form of Immanuel. No matter what, Bishop Patterson always brought a meaningful message from the Bible. Those were the days when we would worship all day. We are Highly encouraging everyone to donate to Bountiful Blessings, we have to show our support through giving to this blessed ministry.
