“Y’all musta forgot”. BG was national champs from 2014-2016, 3 years in a row. Tony Sanchez was the original guy who started BG off the “right way” and everybody loved him but he left in 2014. His brother Kenny Sanchez took over but word is, Kenny has an extremely nasty temper and if you criticize him, he goes off the rails. He literally got fired from his last coaching job because he got in a shouting match with the principal right in front of the kids. He fired all of Tony’s original coaching staff, the men that got them into national contender status and lost a lot of key alumni support because of his explosive personality. But once they fired him, BG slowly came back on the rise. Word is, Bishop Gorman’s administration and alumni are hell-bent on being National champs again. The Fertita brothers are worth Billions and they traveled to Arizona to watch Gorman play. They have deep pockets. That 42-0 loss to Mater Dei on National Television at their Home was the most embarrassing loss in Gorman history. They have their eyes set on taking revenge against the Trinity League schools.

As a homer Cali guy, I have been saying for years how Bishop Gorman is ducking the Trinity League teams. But I can sadly confirm with an event coordinator that hosts national out of state games, Bosco is ducking Gorman big time. Bosco’s coaches were talking breezy on Twitter about Gorman in a fun light hearted way. Gorman saw this and they were willing to host a game for Bosco to even the score (they are 0-2 in the series between them). But Bosco wanted them to come to Cali to play in the Trinity League Classic. Keep in mind, Bosco is supposed to come to Las Vegas because Gorman traveled to Cali last time. Gorman was okay with that and willing to travel to their place so they signed an agreement. But Bosco after 8 hours pulled out of the game and played a Hawaii team instead. Gorman re-contacted them and said they were willing to pay upfront for all the expenses for both teams (Gorman is loaded with $) but Bosco still refused. Gorman was willing to change the date and even contacted the schools on their schedule asking if they were okay with dropping them to play Bosco, they said they were okay with that. Bosco said no sorry. Gorman really wanted to play Bosco to take on the Trinity League monsters but Bosco wouldn’t budge an inch. Gorman even tried bringing ESPN to get Bosco to play ball and they finally said “thanks but no thanks.” and just ghosted Gorman. BG is willing to play Mater Dei this year, they aren’t ducking anyone. This is the year Gorman feels they have a National Championship team, this team might be as good as Tate Martell’s BG team in 2016. Sad to hear from a Cali guy that lives in LA but I can confirm Bosco was the one who didn’t want to play ball. I think Bosco knew if they lost, they would have been 0-3 against Gorman all time.

SJB has avoided IMG when CIF would let them play, they ducked SFA, ducked STA, and ducked BG since 2017. Allen? Central Catholic? A Hawaii team? They're better than the Top 5 national teams? Not hating on SJB they're still good. They beat MD but that's like beating your brother. SJB so far is 0-3 against Top 5 National OOS showdowns. Most winning schools recruit to some degree. I'm sure not everyone on Corner Canyon is from Draper, UT. There are some ringers on the squad. The only difference is that private schools like Gorman don't have any district boundaries or rules like public schools do. So basically, they don't have to break any rules like winning publics do.
