I'm a Born and raised Church of God in Christ Bapticostal. My Baptist preaching father wanted to be filled with the holy ghost. He went to a cogic revival and my mother and all his siblings went to laugh at him when the holiness folks would have him crawling in the floor and speaking that devil language. Well that night while the Bishop and pastor of that church was preaching my mother jumped up from the back of the church and ran to the altar and knealt down and began screamng just like a baptist and began speaking in tongues. My father and all his siblings were saved that night and filled with the holy ghost. When word got back to their homechurch what had happened they were all met the folowing sunday with letters letting them know they were no longer welcome to be members of the baptist church cause they were not welcome to bring that mess into that church. So in 1952 my fathers entire side of the family became members of COGIC. My mother already had family in that church but many more of her relatives came to cogic and got saved and got rid of religion
