We also don't hear from the pulpit much at all that the Eucharist is the body blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ! We hear too much about we, the people, being the Body of Christ.

Charismatics always weirded me out. Mass is the sacrifice of Christ. Modernists today keep saying it's a celebration and how the altar is a table where everyone shares a meal. And they wonder why the pews are emptying and churches are closing around the world. A meal, song and dancing, would not be enough to motivate me to get out of bed on Sunday, much less get me into church at any point. Can go to Subway to share the same excitement.

At mass you are at the foot of the cross, sadly the reverence is not always there.

That’s not charismatic (that you’re describing). That’s modernist. Charismatics are people like Cardinal Reneiro Cantallamessa who is “Charismatic” - filled Holy Spirit (the third person of the Trinity).

I recently came back to the Catholic church. Im 40 years old and only discovered the true meaning of the Eucharist. EWTN In Depth: Where do we find in the Canonical Catechesis / Catechism of the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Cristian Church that the Sacred place of the church Tabernacle can served/used for a video "chit- chat"? So much for our Christian Faith and Adoration to Christ presence in the Tabernacle in Body and Blood Soul and Divinity and the kind of Reverence we show to Our Saviour given Sacrament of Love. Hi Paul, I am a member at this Parish. Apart from mass we have another tabernacle in our chapel, that is where we do adoration and our morning English masses. We have loads of reverence here.

Charismatic Catholics are some of the most reverent people in the church! Love of the mass, scripture, the magisterium, sacraments, and especially the Eucharist. The Lord told his apostles to wait until the Holy Spirit descended on them before going out to preach. He died to provide the Holy Spirit to his followers. And many Charismatic Catholics LOVE the traditional Latin mass too by the way. 😊

A lot of the news about the Church *is* depressing these days, and I think Raymond does a fabulous job of covering it. And he almost always balances that with interesting interviews about topics that also uplift and inspire, if you watch all of the hour-long program.

@@stephanie4949 He is good, but his show is very one-sided. When does he ever have anyone on his show that thinks differently than he does about the current affairs of the church? He comes off as arrogant and political, to me at least.

@@HarleyGirl75 He defends Catholic orthodoxy against heterodoxy, confusion, and error. Sacred Scripture tells us repeatedly that we must choose between spiritual life and death. So yes, in that sense, he is one-sided: he chooses light over darkness and life over death.

I actually think just the opposite. World Over Live is terrific and orthodox. This Bishop's interview gave me pause and concern. (Noted he said he was trained at Fordham, and as a Jesuit.)

For further clarification, go no further than the Churches exorcists. They will explain the dangers of copying the Protestants in worship. The church offers the “Sacrifice of Christ at the Mass. it is not a party. You would not be celebrating if your only begotten son was being nailed to the cross. It’s that simple. Keep the mass holy. Celebration can be had in another venue. 🙏.

Well my two kids that attend at this parish along with all the others are not given the nice cut. Bishop Espaillat lets them know the truth and facts and he will call anyone out he is known for a famous line during his homilies "Amen or ouch?" because he knows sometimes the truth hurts.

Our bishops have never known how to evangelize even though for decades they have been talking about it. Do we not have many thousands of them but still over 70% of Catholics do not go to church and even with the minority who attend, do not believe all what the Church teaches like the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Therefore, it is pointless to be asking people to attend Mass. The Eucharist is NOT a sacrament of salvation. No one gets saved by going for Mass. In fact, most Catholics LOSE their salvation, and get sick, because they receive the Eucharist in grave sin. The Eucharist is the source and summit of worship only for people who are already saved and in the state of grace. It is the necessary reward and completion for the faith one ought to hold. That is why it is not given to Christians validly baptized but not catholic even though their faith in Jesus is great and admirable. When Jesus commissioned the apostles to preach the Gospel, there was no Eucharist. The Gospel is not the Eucharist, though the Eucharist is in the Gospel. So how do you evangelize? The only way to accomplish that is by preaching the Gospel as a life and death issue. But in my lifetime, @ 77 years, I have never heard a single bishop, thus priests, preach Baptism as the urgent, absolute necessity without which there can be no salvation (for which the Martyrs died). Once baptized (thus saved) then people must be constantly reminded of the necessity of keeping the commandments to secure their salvation till death. “If you love me, keep my commands." (John 14: 15) People have no knowledge of the commandments and thus the occasion of sin, because they have not been warned of the terrible consequences of sin. "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children." (Hosea 4: 6) Note that when God rejects faithless priests, He also rejects the people. This is wholesale damnation! Because our bishops do not preach the Word of God as it is but only as they think it ought to be, in worldly philosophical values, we have now come to the point of rejecting explicit moral commandments of God like blessing of homosexual unions even though Sodomy is a very grievous sin that cries out to heaven like that of willful murder. >>>

True, but you cannot diminish the significance of the Hispanic population in the U.S. Catholic church. They are largely a devout people and the church has to find effective ways to minister to them. This does not take away from other populations in any way.

This is the vision of every single person who is ordained a bishop. Bring the people back to Jesus by using the charisma by God . Many old bishops should relieve duties to the seemingly good young prises who are young and enthusiastic in church teachings instead of loving for money. Teaching about hell, which is the core teaching of the Church. A few committed priests and bishops are preaching on this subject, letting people live more holier than thinking of once saved, always saved false protestants teaching which is unbiblical.

Mr. Robert Royal & Fr. Gerald Murray, why is it that the Private Commercial Multinational EWTN -- USA in their Video and religious telemarketing products they sale say only: catholic tv? (=Universal Tv without a Frame of Reference of Religion Belonging.) Why the Redactors and Editors are not informing the "clientele" that the Tv and Video they produce and distribute have the approval of a Roman Catholic Bishop in Union with Rome or are benefitting of such approval from the Catholic Church Holy See of Rome - Ecclesiastical Approval Office of the Propagation of the Christian Faith according to the Canons of the Word-Tradition-Magisterium of the Church. Briefly: (after the death of Mather Angelica) the new Management (filo masonic ?) is a sort of DIY Christian religion as long the sales are good and the Holdings of EWTN grows, and new stations are increasing in numbers.
