The High Places that he is singing about here refers to the spirit realm, that is where spiritual wickedness and the Heavenly Host battle, it is not available to us but only by the Spirit of God and by prayer that we can warfare, but you would have to have the Holy Ghost in order to understand this matter, that's why you should seek God to receive HIS Spirit. ~IJS~

Ok dude, but did you hear the entire song? That why the Bible instructs us to hear the conclusion of the matter and to not judge anything prematurely! Cuz even though the song refers to the high places, it speaks of God's soverign rule over the high places, and his ability to level what has exalted itself. The word of God speaks of spiritual wickedness in high places as well as thoughts that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God. Under the new covenant the high places are obstacles

i knew this so called pastor was full of it. the high places referred to in the bible were places the children of israel built for idol worship or what we know today as sun-day worship churches. read about it for yourself 2 Kings 12:3 But the high places were not taken away: the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places. people really do perish for lack of knowledge. why are you singing a song that makes reference to something God hates?

UnleashedGraffixx you're right about those high places but the High places referred to in this song comes from Ephesians 6:12. Read the whole chapter, it will make sense.

In this song he is referencing that God is saying he will tear DOWN the high places (that the Children of Israel erected/worshipped in--false gods/idols). Singing about the high place coming DOWN is a good thing.
