And again in response to you It says Junia and I quote was "NOTED AMONG THE APOSTLES".. it doesnt say she Was an apostle. That simply means that she was known to be around the them. Please look up the meaning of the words noted among. In corinthians ,it gives the qualifications of the five fold ministry .and correction from your prev post 4 months ago it says "noted among" .. not a noted apostle.. thanx..

I believe the reason the bible said a bishop must be a husband of one wife, was because during that period of time men were married to many women at one time. The woman was only allowed to be married to one man. It wasn't needed to speak about of woman marriages. We must always keep in mind the time of history that events were taking place in the bible and what was surrounding that time period. Why do we as Christians have to speak so badly of each other? sure its in 1 Timothy chpt 3 :1-7 .. Its tells what a bishop is which is a HUSBAND of one wife, etc.... Please read it for yourself so u wont be decieved. Last time I checked women were considered wives not husbands.. further it talks abt their wives and deacons

Please, U typing in caps doesnt make your point valid. There are clear scriptures that say women cannot be in that authority and I stand on that. And correction it says "noted with the Apostles."..And I didnt say we cant be in leadership. The bible says the qualifications of a Bishop./Apostles/Pastors/etc and we cannot fit it. Whatever foolish one, noted AMONG, if something's among something it means they're part of the group. If one read the Greek, one would know that Junia was referred to as an Apostle. Furthermore those who hold your position would call you out on your bad example, they would say the same thing I did about among,but than they'd try to infer that the Greek says Junias (a man's name),not Junia (a womans name), however that is not what the Greek says. Please go study, you're making a fool of yourself.

It is unseemly to have a woman Pastoring a church, and here's the funny part, when we read about the church of laodicea many of us do not realize that it's referring to us, the current church age. We full of excess, have tons of information at our disposal yet we ignore many of the tenants of the early church, thinking ourselves to be wise, teaching a new doctrine, not that of repentance and judgment, but the Gospel of prosperity, and of that lie that God accepts anything, NO God accepts anyone

1st of all sir, it says they were noted with the apostles. It doesnt say they were Apostles.they were just known to be w/them.2nd a woman doesnt even fit the qualifications . How can we be a husband of one wife. Thats a lie. “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent” (1 Timothy 2:11-12). In the church, God assigns different roles to men and women. God, through the apostle Paul, restricts women from serving in roles of teaching and/or having spiritual authority over men. This precludes women from serving as pastors over men, which definitely includes preaching to, teaching, and having spiritual authority.
