Steps to rebuilding the “black” family and community. 🔥🔥🔥
@williamoverton77759 ай бұрын
all families only are because of responsibilities. that's one way the rich and poor are the same black and white is the same everyone is the same. when your responsibilities cease to be affected by your feelings you are an adult. even when grown some are more adult than others.

@@king144k12 . The purple costume dude quoted acts 8:26- to answer a question of how he knows so much about the Bible. The chapter is telling a story, about a man that speaks a different language, reading the scroll 📜 in his chariot. That story is a plot device to link Jesus to Isaiah 53 , which the entire book of Isaiah identified Israel as the servant. Jacob/ not Jesus. So acts and the purple costume man is taking the chapter out of context.

To answer the interviewers first question; young men become more masculine and stable when they are raised by a masculine and stable man. Young men will be more feminine and less stable when raised by women. Quick personal example, I was raised by both parents and I have 2 sisters. I have was introduced and exposed musicals and nearly all Madea plays by my sisters, but I was introduced and exposed to sports by my father. I played football through college as a result, in addition to learning the value of respect, integrity, character, camaraderie, transparency, ambition, assertiveness etc through being involved and contributing to predominantly male spaces. Without my father’s influence, I would not be the masculine and stable man that I am today. All humans output whatever was input, males are not exempt. What kind of man would I be if I only the only media I engaged with was High School Musical, Madea, That’s so Raven, etc.?

I didn’t hear him actually answer the question about how he is teaching young men to be emotionally stable .. all I heard him say was that the mother and father must get their mind right .. which yes .. but HOW! the man is not in the home because he’s emotionally unstable .. The question was not answered. 😕
@jamesmckameyjr9 ай бұрын
I heard him say that you have to teach the young man and woman. From education to etiquette to hygiene and to give tough love when you are building them up. Teach them how to respond to conflict and contain their emotions. You missed all that?

@bigboylofton2690 I just have a different perspective. I have family members who think this way, and I saw the results firsthand. In addition, our community loves this talk, but show me the results of constantly quoting scriptures, I haven't seen the benefit.
@veronicabullard26949 ай бұрын
Quoting the scriptures helps remind us of what we should be doing (good) and helps us identify what we should not be doing (evil examples). It helps. Everyone needs to know how to apply the scriptures to their own lives in the right way. Everything in the Bible is all relevant to this day. It's just something to consider for those who don't believe that it works. It does work.
@jamesmckameyjr9 ай бұрын
I saw the correlation between the scripture and the real world questions he was addressing with each scripture presented. You either listen and take heed or forbear. I would suggest you pray for the wisdom to understand. I have watched classes on how to read the Bible precept upon precept to gain an understanding. If you want to learn just humble your spirit and study. It will become impossible not to see the relevance of scriptures in this modern world.
