And I have seen these pastors, prophets, evangelists, apostles, and teachers continously, revoking God's will for them which is more plentiful that what they search for and fine.. then they deceive everyone with their old age that they are settling down this time and divorce is not inevitable. But maybe not divorce but what we all are looking at is an annulment taking place. My heart hurts; my spirit groans for the two souls that has been deceived, by the flesh, the world, and the devil. There is probably, a woman his age or age range who might be present with her female companions who God told them over 28 years ago that Elder Jones was her husband. But he did not want who God told him to marry. This is happening all over the Body of Christ and the world in every culture. We have spoiled God's purposes and plans for His family and now we are spoiled goods. Stop everyone and let God restore the years of the generations of families in a godly fashion. Amen!!!

Men are being taught that marriage is a bad deal (high divorce rates, cheating, etc). When marriages break up, men are 2 times as likely to lose custody of children, and 4 times as likely to die from suicide. He feels broken from losing his role of "husband," whereas women say they feel "free" from being burdened as "wife." With the divorce rate at 50% and with 70-80% of all divorces being filed by women, men are becoming increasingly cautious. The trend towards avoiding marriage is about more than being in "pimp mode" or perpetual boyhood/ never growing up. It's about analyzing risk. More and more, guys are saying it's not worth it; which is actually sad to me. Marriage can be a beautiful thing with the right partner. When two people genuinely know how to lean on God and elevate each other to be their best, it makes for a Holy union. Neither men or women are being taught truly healthy models of marriage.

As I stated above, women are reporting a high degree of unhappiness and they are filing almost 3/4ths of all divorces. Something about marriage isn't working for them. Now the reasons why they are feeling so unfulfilled is a matter of huge debate. Often both sexes end up blaming some perceived shortcoming in the other. She might say, "men are too immature." He might say, "women are just too emotional and never satisfied." Both sides are reevaluating the risk/ reward, but guys are the ones actively avoiding it. Since women are socialized to prize marriage (with some ladies saying they dreamed about their wedding day from the time they were little girls), then it's actually women who are hurt by men opting out. Women are the ones who feel "passed over" for marriage. Second, I think we need to define misogynistic. I disagree that BM as a whole fit that description. But, I do think it s a growing trend and is probably more prevalent among guys under 35. Again, with the rise of various KZbin commentators and podcasts, younger men are being fed a steady diet of negative ideas about marriage (and women in general). I would define the dominant culture of BM as traditional/ conservative when it comes to relationships.
