Why did some of the Old Testament men that were under the LAW, received unmerited GRACE from God? Men like David, Samson, Balaam, Mosses, Hezekiah, Lott and Jonah......and please explain; why did some of the New Testament men that were under GRACE did NOT receive it, but instead they were found guilty of violating the LAWS of God? Men like Judas, Ananias, the Pharisees and the other thief that had died on the cross along side Christ. The unbiblical prosperity gospel ONLY teaches us that Christ’s greatest desire is to lavish us with an abundance of His GRACE and FAVOR, and even if we decide to commit sins, it still would not be enough to disrupt God’s heavenly provisions for us. According to the Holy Bible, there were several Jewish people that believed the SAME foolish philosophy, believing that they were in a much better position to avoid any hardships or tragedies because they had FAVOR with God😕 They had foolishly believed that they had FAVOR with God because they were not destroyed when a large tower had collapsed on top of a group of Jewish people, killing eighteen of them 😞 In response to that horrific and unsuspected tragedy, Jesus had FOREWARNED His people the Jews to NOT assume that ALL is well with them because they were now under GRACE and not the LAW. ✝️ Luke 13:4-5 ✝️ “Those eighteen people who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them-do you think they were MORE guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, NO! But unless YOU REPENT, you too WILL ALL perish” In commenting on the fall of the tower of Siloam, Jesus negates four assumptions that people OFTEN make: 1) Suffering is proportional to sinfulness. 2) Tragedy is a sure sign of God’s judgment. 3) Bad things happen only to bad people. 4) We have the right to make such judgments. People, you MUST be taught the FULL counsel of God in order to receive ETERNAL LIFE!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🕊🕊❤️❤️✝️✝️
