I think I bought is cd my senior year '99 of high school. To this day it's still one of my favorite albums with "Bow down and worship Him" my favorite. Bishop McClendon ushers in the spirit so powerfully prior to Bishop Morton singing. From beginning to end, when Pastor Winans... my my my. I take myself to church everytime I listen to this song. This song had much to do to enter the AA Church into what we now call "Praise and Worship" It ushered in a deeper presence of God in our services that was and still is desperately needed. Thank God for Bishop Morton and A. Jeff Lavelley for taking the Church in to more intimate personal worship not just in our private devotions but in our congregational worship too. It has changed my life and in 2024, it remains my "go to" song whenever I need to set the atmosphere to enter into the presence of God.
