Bishop The Last X-Man from Mezco Review

I got my Bishop in late November. off of Amazon. And his left foot was broken off out of the box going to return him. . And his upper torso is not lined up with his lower torso .I have quite a few mezco and never had a problem before!

I've owned over two dozen Mezco 1:12 figures, and the only issue I ever had is the stock breaking on one of their rifles. I've had virtually nothing but good experiences with their figures, so this is heartbreaking to me. At that price point there should be comprehensive QC on every figure before they go in the box. I hope your friend gets a replacement, and considering how late Mezco is with everything lately, a heartfelt apology and dinner at a nice restaurant too. For what it's worth, I got their new John Constantine last weekend and there were no QC issues despite fiddly stuff like the cloth coat he comes with. On the bright side, you have very good video evidence to prove to Mezco that the figure wasn't mishandled but came broken. I think you handled it just right, stopping the review but still being professional about it instead of throwing a temper tantrum. Nicely done.

Hi ! Great review. I have this figure too. I bought it 3 weeks ago and let the knife inside the sheath since I opened it for display. Today I took the knife out and found out that some of the silver paint rubbed off from the blade and some yellow paint from the inside of the sheath stuck to the blade. Did you encounter such problems on yours ?

Man that really sucks when you pay that amount for it to break as soon as you open it i been seeing that people are having issues with the shoulders too thanks for the video keep the content coming brother

I find it interesting they the plastic tray the figure is in, is clear. I only have 10 mezco but the tray for the figures have always been black. I wonder if the different plastic had anything to do with it. I’ve never had an issue like this with one of mine. Very disappointing. I’ve heard some complaints on this figure and the new Conan. Mine had stick biceps. Easy fix, but that was a first for me.

Damn I just got the Conan with the blue shirt and it’s amazing but I also saw a lot of QC issues with Bishop online and I still really want him cause he look awesome - 😮

That's a bummer. I wonder if the packaging is animated. Cause It seems like if a real person packaged it , it would have been noticed. Hope he gets a replacement with no problems.

It seems like every toy collector needs to record themselves opening their toys because we're getting broken toys from the factory, left and right. If I get a toy that's just scratched from Target. they will refund my money over-the-phone instantly and then tell me to keep the toy. I don't know if they're always going to do that but they've done it every time (3 times so far) I use the app. Even when the box was just damaged they refunded my money and told me to keep the toy. Maybe it was because they no longer had the toy in stock IDK🤷🏾‍♂️

I hate this figure so much. I went through 4 of them on Amazon. 3 of them had the leg like that, and all four had stiff right arm. Snapped 2 of them. I tried heating it, and it still snapped. Reached out to Mezco about it, and was told to just contact Amazon.

I been buying Mezco since the start. They are hit or miss, their licensed products were always good but now Mezco puts effort only on their original exclusives.

I collect the Justice League classified series. And they're on a blister card. And one day I was dusting the shelf in the car tipped over. The glue that was on the plastic disintegrated. And a figure fell off the card. The figure was about five years old. And when it landed on the shelf, the arm completely snapped out of its socket. There is no way in hell I can get that replaced. But that's an example of why being an open box collector is important. Either that leave it in the box forever.
