They chose Hareem coz physique n stature wise she is similar to Savera Nadeem so they had to show that TT basically fell for Hareem coz physically she reminded him of young Rehaam plus she is hubby pleaser n butterer unlike Rehaam which makes him wed her coz she makes him feel superior n doesn't treat him like buddy but majaazi khudaaa. No other girl would have fit in. But Hareem was not acting well in the earlier epis coz she doesn't fit in as a 22y old, period. But as TT's second wife, a conniving menacing manipulative vengeful woman now, she fits in.

I think agar koi female director hoti to tt would be different character now he is chilled out he is a good friend of savera he shares a nice bond with Saad nauman is doing scenes the way he wants he always hit nail on the head & aehsan talish agrees to it because he is an old director and nauman and savera are brilliant in their crafts and has years of experience in acting , tou Jo comfort level hai it shows in their BTS , and for me hareem is masooma only she is believable cunning character less masooma so called and after listening to hareem's recent interview i felt she manage to embibe that bad girl vibes ,or agar koi female hoti tou may be she want them to act in a certain way to drama itna maqbool na Hota , no they have space and a free-hand.
