I have seen his recent sparring sessions. All i know is he is still flat-footed like he was against dustin no longer that bounce, which allowed him to be more agile slip in slip out. However, chandler is very easy to hit, so if chandler slows tf down and doesn't want to go out there and slug it out with conor, he can win, but if candler goes out there and throws those over reaching punches conor is going to murder chandler imo

It's very possible. The question is whether McGregor still has his speed and timing given his age and his inactivity. Chandler has shown to be extremely dangerous early on in the fight. He very explosive and can put you out if he catches you.

Thanks Michael. I agree 100% with your analysis. Conor did his best at 145 lbs. His frame is not that of a middleweight and to have that much muscle on his frame means he will be slower and will gas out much earlier than he normally does. Conor has a documented history of getting tired in the later rounds. That being said, he actually looks great and looks like he is in good shape and really enjoying life. I hope he does well and does not get tired. I also hope he has learned how to do something more than cock his left hand and dance around the octagon waiting to unload it. He really needs to develop a higher level of boxing because everyone of his opponents knows what to expect.

If it does go down at middleweight, I 100% agree with you, I pretty much think Chandler has this at any weight actually... But at middleweight, the advantage just grows in my mind. I wonder what Chandler's normal walking around weight is, my bet is it's pretty close to 185, not 200 where Conor seems to be. Just by working out and training, training, training, Chandler can keep his weight on point. Conor on the other hand is more likely to continue over indulge while training, then have to cut those 15 lbs, easy weight cut I'm sure, but that still takes energy out of your body. Chandler's cardio has never been questioned while we've seen Conor slow down in late rounds even at 155, with that extra muscle and weight, he's gonna fade a lot quicker. Now lets say he is able to find Chandler's chin early and finish him, where is he going from there, I see no title future at all at 185, the top 5-6 guys in that division are all killers, and I don't even see him beating anyone inside the top 10 right now. I'm glad Connor is going for this fight even if he's "sleeping on silk sheets". I think it's his last go and he needs to prove it to himself as far as feeling "the feeling" again more than anything else. And the 185 weight might make the camp a little easier for him especially after the time off, but I don't think it'll make or break the outcome of the fight. He will either catch Chandler in the first round with a knock out or lose to Chandler in the later rounds in any number of ways. I don't think his approach would be any different at a different weight.

155 is the best weight for him. He can't make 145 anymore and he nearly killed himself getting down to that. But 185 is nuts, but then Chandler isn't 185 either, so it's a bit of a weird one. Mr Bisping, the question asked: is McGregor making a mistake coming back at 185? YES - He is, because Conor has crap cardio over more than 2 rounds. His lungs have not carried his frame at that weight before and Conor is entirely reliant on this fight staying standing. He simply will not be able to operate at 185 as the same person in the octagon. Yes - he is avoiding a massive weight cut which has been a horror for his energy levels but the trade off will not pay off. The hidden variable? Is this arguement equally applicable to Chandler? I think yes it is, but less critical metabolically than for McG. Chandler will arm bar Conor at 4min into the 2nd round.
