The Bissell vacuums are really inexpensive but I’ve had one for three years and has thousands of hours on it still runs great. I’ve had to replace some parts here and there because it is plastic but boy, they do run and do vacuum very well. Compare that to a Dyson that’s piece of junk that cost 12 times amount of money a Bissell, will keep going, and going. My sister has gone through at least 2 Dyson Vacuums when I still have my original Bissell 2252 clearview. And she has 1 Dog, we have 4 dogs, 2 of them shed all the time really long-haired dogs. Not only that we have tile floors that have peaks, and valleys in them. I have to vacuum all the time. I do appreciate the video, it will help me replace my power cord.

Hey Hank . . . before I go tearing apart my vacuum, do you think it would be possible to take apart the cord rewind module a bit further and just replace the cord? Or does that whole module need to be replaced if the cord is damaged?

I’ve taken them apart and redone the cords in the winder, it’s somewhat difficult I wouldn’t necessarily recommend you try it. It’s much easier just to replace the whole winder.

Someone seems to know what their time is worth. That's valuable knowledge. If you still have that front roller assembly, I need it for a simple repair.
