I have the 1398 that I bought back in February of 2015 it was one of my first vacuums that I still have. And I don’t plan on getting rid of it anytime soon.

@Intellitech Studios bagged vacuums seem to have better filtration when fitted with a hepa cloth bag.

One thing I like better about the powerforce bagless is that when you remove the dirt cup the bottom dirt cup is already connected to the dirt cup that holds the inner and outer circular filter so you don't have to use both hands to take the filters to wash

One thing that I think is better about the older helix is that the extension wand is a lot longer than the one on the newer helix because that one is shorter than the one on the older helix so that's what I like better about the older helix

Came on here to see if they still made the 1240. Because I absolutely loved my Bissell 1240 and lasted me over 10 years. I want a brand new one so that I can treat it nicer Since now I know they last a long time. I also was very good though at cleaning it out multiple times a year.

I'd recommend the Sanitare SL4110A as a replacement. They do make a bagless version that's nearly identical to your 1240, but I'd strongly recommend the bagged version as the Filtration and maintenance is much better than the bagless version. You can buy it here:Sanitaire PROFESSIONAL Bagged Upright Vacuum with Tools SL4110A www.walmart.com/ip/443600544 It is quite a bit more, but the cord is much longer and the build quality is greatly improved

The reason why you have a hepa filter in your bissell powerforce bagged 1398 because when you got it it had a dryer sheet even though it mostly has the classic post motor filter like you we're saying in the video but you decided to just put a hepa filter

it seems like on the new bissell the more expensive ones like cleanview, powerlifter, pet hair eraser, etc that they finally have sealed systems but no hepa filters until the new mutlicleans come out later this year

The Reduce Allergens Bissell Powerforce is good, but for some reason the release pedal for normal operation breaks so easily. My uncle and grandparents have the same vacuum and if you push on the front, the entire top unit tips back. It's annoying.

Just got a new vacuum. Bissell powerhouse lift-off pet bagless vacuum. The bagged powerforce had one of its parts broke off. I think the cord clip came off or something. Is it replaceable? Also, don't fall for the never loses suction slogan. It's a scam.
