I have this. How does the hose part work without the debris coming out of the back. When the hose is off the connection place.

The hose is for picking up things without the brushroll. Now, you may need to make sure there isn’t a clog in the bottom hose located in the base or make sure that it isn’t sitting on debris, because that can cause it to come out the bottom hose. If it is completely clear, nothing should come out. Hope this helps & sorry I’m late, I just saw this. - NDQ 🦋
