@@judithalvarez8688 Grabbed me a Hoover Professional Series Deluxe Spinscrub 50. Nooooooice!!? 129 bucks at Home Depot. Sale is over. Picks up water excellent. Light as a feather and uses Spinning scrub brushes. Whatever direction you start either go in the opposite direction on your second pass. That Proheat 2 by Bissell is very nice S well. But with all. Just take your time. Thanks for the video bro. I tried to get my grandchildren to help and ended up falling asleep. 😂

Yeah I have two German shepherds and my shark gets up almost all the hair from the carpet. The Bissell 2x carpet cleaner pulls up barely any hair because the shark does such a good job. It one does however extract a lot of dirty water.

I have the same cleaner it's amazing. I do have one suggestion...well 2... When you push the cleaner forward go as slow as you do when pulling it backwards. This agitates the carpet more and dont forget to pull the trigger going forward as well. The second thing is try using just a little bit of oxy clean liquid as well with the regular cleaner you use.

I think I'm going to get this. I have an older Bissell carpet cleaner, with the bladder inside the water container, a design I dislike. The two separate containers make a lot more sense. Also, my machine is harder to clean afterward.

Great video! Unfortunately, I was not too impressed by the Chem Dry carpet cleaning service,nor using the rental Rug Doctor, so I just got this and so far I am happy with it! It definitely helps to vacuum as needed regularly with a high quality vacuum!

Ahhh I'm so glad you got a shark! I have a shark Apex and it's the best!! I had a Dyson first and it sucked so I sold it for the shark as well as this carpet cleaner you won't regret it! I have 2 dogs and 3 cats. And when i get done cleaning the carpet I take the water jug off and just go over the carpet slowly with dry passes in different directions and I get most of the water out and it dries quick!

I'm all for Bissel... I plan on getting this one.. I have a Bissel pro heat 2x 12 amp, max power, I have had that for 25 yrs. It still does the job but the suction is becoming weak. I have to go over the carpet Slowly, 3, 4 times even tho it blows heat.. BTW.. I loved seeing your daughter help with the demo. In my opinion it helps build confidence and character...

You have to be strategic in how you use it - I go over carpet with trigger pulled, let it sit for a bit, then put weight on the front and extract very slowly. Leaves carpet mostly dry and clean. It helps to use a quality vacuum first.

You know whats a trip? Not only does no one tell us what I think is very important, but no one else seems to notice. So, every man, woman and child knows that youre supposed to hold the trigger pulling and when youre pushing? Or do you only hold it when pulling? And you know what I dont get? It only sucks in water from the rug/carpet when its also shooting out water. So you cant do any kind of dry vac situation. Cos when you hate setting on heavy it shoots out a LOT of water. Grrr

I just bought the pro 2X revolution. It's the yellow one. Basically the same one has the same settings. But yeah when you use the max clean setting. It says you're supposed to allow at least 8 hours to fully dry the carpet unless you use fans which will help. Good video but I got to say you never really gave full instructions to us on how to use it. You basically just showed us you using it. Whoever was filming should have showed you pushing the trigger on the top which you never explained that for people that don't know. And you never explained to people on how many passes you were supposed to make with the sprayer on and then how many dry passes ? great video but I'm just saying that you could have shown a lot better instructions for people that don't know how to use one of these or have never used one. I just read the instructions very thoroughly. Still haven't used it yet but I'm getting pretty excited because we have three cats that have really ruined our carpets.

Thanks for using a realistic super dirty high traffic carpet. I see many reviews with pretty clean carpets . Or then rubbing in new stains. Ours is just dirty from constant walking,not much crazy wine spills. With 2 kids we only allow food& drinks in the dining area so I know it's just dirt

Great video! I have a question for you if you don’t care to give me your opinion. I’ve been looking at the Bisssell Spotclean Pro to detail one of our vehicles as it is very popular with some of the auto detailing you tubers and gets great reviews elsewhere. As I am not a pro detailer I really only need it for this one vehicle and maybe a touch up here or there. We’ve also been looking at getting a Bissell Pro Heat 2x for our carpets at home which would see much more use. As the Pro Heat 2x has an upholstery attachment do you see any reason why the Pro Heat 2x wouldn’t do as well as the Spotclean pro at extracting auto upholstery? I really would appreciate your input as you are a pro detailer and have thoroughly reviewed the Proheat 2x. Thank you.

I’d say if you only need it for a couple spots here and there you would be just fine and would be a more efficient way to spend money. Especially being that it’s summer time you would have adequate time to let the vehicle dry just try to mop it up with some towels afterwards.

Just a quick tip for future reference try buying the large thing of "SHOUT" AND SPOT treat before you carpet clean meaning spray some SHOUT on any noticable staines let sit for a bit and then scrub with a toothbrush or brush of some sort then go over with carpet cleaner... That if you have some noticeable staines that ud like to get rid of and also future reference if a stain was to occur on carpet again spot treat with SHOUT OR BISSEL CLEANER SOULTION as soon as the stain occurs

I've never seen a detailer do their own carpet. You have a MyTee or something similar, right? You can easily see how much extra water you can get it of the carpet, and probably get it cleaner in the process! Good video!

I bought this vacuum cleaner from Argos a month ago after reading many reviews. Unfortunately, I do not have a good opinion about this vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner itself is very heavy, and when the water container is full, it weighs over 12 kg or more, which is difficult to handle. This vacuum cleaner is not suitable for carpets with a loop structure. The dirty water container fills up very quickly. It is very noisy and you need to have ear plugs to use this vaccum. On a positive note, I can only add that it cleans dirty carpets fairly well.

Looked like you were not using any shampoo to clean the carpet ,there was no shampoo coming out on the carpet in forward or backward motion just look like you were putting water down and then sucking it back up . I've watched other reviewers of the carpet shampooer and they all showed cleaner / shampoo on 1St and second pass and then sucking it up on the 3RD pass . Yours I didn't see any trace of shampoo on the carpet at all .

Also the rug fuzz that the machine is leaving behind that shouldn't be happening. That should suck up into the tank not left on the carpet. Ive had this happen when I rented the Bissell Big green Carpet machine. It would leave clumps of rug fuzz or lint matter and I would have to pick them up every so often. It also moves those clumps inside the carpet Roller housing. I would have take a towel and force it thru the housing and pull the tail of the towel thru the housing to get the matted clumps of lint out..

Great unbiased review. I'm stuck between this or the Vax platinum power max. Apparently this is much easier to clean and stores , so i think i will be getting this one this week. Ease of use isn't a problem for me as i'm now paraplegic and won't be doing it myself 😁. I've hired the Rug doctor in the past and although the results were great i found that that slight stains reappeared only a few months later. It’s worth the time to do a clean water rinse afterwards as the solution residue that is otherwise left in the carpet seems to be sort of sticky somehow and encourages the dirt to build up again.

All though yes you were getting dirty water from the cleaning so you were getting some dirt out of your carpet but I didn't notice any difference in before or after the cleaning . Looked to me like the cleaner' shampoo mix was too diluted to do any real deep in to the carpet cleaning but I believe it is a good carpet cleaner and will be getting one . Thanks for the review .

There is no way this is as good as a proper professional machine but then I woildnt expect it to be either at that price point. When they test those rental machines, they are also not pro machines. Pro machines are not available for hire! A rug doctor or bissell big green are not pro machines
