Hey everybody! I'm terrible at noticing YT notifications, so sorry for not replying to many comments or anything. I wanted to come in and hopefully let you all know that Bit Brigade did a new show last month at MAGFest where they played THREE GAMES. And two of them were new! I'll refrain from saying what they are in case any of you weren't aware of this and want to be surprised. It's was a killer show! Unfortunately, it only has a little over 800 views. I figure since this video has over 400k at this point (which is unreal), hopefully I could point some of you over toward the MAGFest channel because it seems to get very little attention. Here's a link to the Bit Brigade set, complete with remastered board audio and everything! Sorry you may not see the game 100% of the time, we've made sure this will be addressed in the future where we'll have a special overlay or something setup for it, not unlike what we here. Bit Brigade at MAGFest 2017 - Three Game Set! kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5m4fauKgK6arpo My team (Down in Front) and I are part of a much larger official media team for MAGFest, so /most/ of the main stage concerts on that channel were filmed by us and those we work with. There's soooo many concerts on that channel now, you're bound to discover a lot of great music and stage performances (emphasis here on The Protomen and URIZEN), so please go check it out and give it a sub! All of our MAG content will be over there from now on, while any VGM we film outside of MAG will be on our DiF page, linked in the description above. Thank you all for the subs too, it makes me regret uploading this to my personal channel and not making one for our team ahead of time. :P

in case anyone is still reading. back in the days of the nes, i was playing megaman 2. i dont remember the order in which i was fighting the bosses, but i do remember i had beaten crash man before i went for quick man. i accidentally fired a crash bomb in the opposite direction. and it attached to the wall as it normally does. quickman jumped over me, straight into the bomb, he caught ALL the explosions and died. the luckiest accident in my gaming career.

Bit Brigade is an AWSOME name! AWESOMEEEEE! Woodman's Stage was always my favorite. Even from a young age I could imagine it as a guitar song. ROCK AND ROLL!!

Wow, that was really good. It goes to show you just how poorly modern video game music holds up against the old stuff. Some of the material is just fucking brilliant.

very rarely do I prefer live versions of music to studio versions, this is one performance I just dig for an indefineable reason though. I come back here once a week and listen through while writing DnD prep lol. The fast pace keeps my mind moving, and the lack of vocals makes it easier to focus than other music : )

Dude I am sorry, but I seriously couldnt help myself and I had to comment. I am so greatfull i atleast got to witness this via youtube. This to me truely is something special and magnifisant. I've heard people cover their own versions of the many awsome soundtracks from the classic 8-16 bit era, but these guyz... Maaaan!!! They did it complete and total justice. The way the performance went and their rendition of mega man 2 soundtrack was so precise, and i mean precise to the core, from the instruments used to the to the many soundz they produced, and by far the most important part of the show, the degree of technic , skill and mastery of their instruments these artist/musicianz demonstrated was beautifull. 1. First of all this was no ordinary concert for this was strictly a musical rendition NO vocals at all.... these gentlemen were singing with their instruments. And that is bad azz. 2. Since the main attraction of the performance was Musical the music has spesific parts of the tracks for each instrument to do their thing. So for instance, when u hear the stringz playing what soundz like a simple riff, the drummer will be rocking out like a motha hauffa just playing and amazing set and visa versa, they all have their momentz and each one of them is a savage in their craft, i swear man, at one point i thought they were about to creat fire on stage the way they were just jamming out Lol, intense. 3. The music of this game is just epic, those that cant see it dont have the brilliance to hear "EPIC" wether it be an 8-bit soundrack or a street performer in the subway. Most people need the "flashy lights" and expensiveley dressed douche bagz to tell them what is "Hip". 4. They played the entire musical workz of mega man 2 from cover to cover. In a non stop performance live just like a nes game would do. In short THIS WAZ AN INTENSE PERFORMANCE JAMMED PACKT WITH INCREDIBLE INTERPRETATIONS OF EVERY SINGLE 8 BIT TRACK OF ROCK MAN DUECE..

For those who missed it, Bit Brigade came back to MAGFest 2019 and played Mega Man 2 again! Not only that, they had the composer of the game, Takashi Tateishi, come out on stage with them at the beginning of the show! kzbin.info/www/bejne/raq4m6xsr7Kjpac
