Spangdahlem was such an awesome assignment for the 2 short years I was there, 93-95. I lived in Orenhofen after moving off base when Bitburg was closing and we were getting personnel to Spangdahlem. I miss it a lot and have been back a few times since as I have German friends I stay in touch with. Bitburg is all businesses now and some of it is abandoned (high school area) I wish I could've got stationed there in Germany longer, it's awesome.

It seems so modern then I remember it's been 30 years since I was at Bitburg. I was 22 and Bitburger was probably my first beer.

It's been so many years since we were at Bitburg. My Dad was Air Force. We lived on base...5-F-3 was our address. Lived there '65-'68! Best memories!

Bin in Bitburg aufgewachsen. Alles hat sich sehr veraendert. Tolles video, nur zu schnell gefahren :) Living in the US now, have not been back to Bitburg my hometown in 12 years. Had hoped to go this year, but COVID-19 got in the way.
