what happens if we can't get the software in the future? no seed phrase, so how would you restore?

The software is free and open source, there are many different copies, and many different flavors and versions. Along with tens of thousands of other people, you're free to save a copy of the software for yourself as well. Once something is on the internet, it's forever. You can't destroy every copy of anything.

Binance and coinbase are both exchanges that also have multi-coin wallets. Bitcoin core is a full bitcoin node + wallet. Its hard to know what you are asking as they are very different, but self custody is always more secure when done right.

Wondering. If I was to install this software on a PC with no internet connection, could I use it to generate a wallet and seed-phrase or private keys to use as an offline wallet? Then I could delete it and just save the seed-phrase or private keys? How do you generate the seed-phrase or private key? Can I generate a wallet even though it's not network connected? What exactly do I need to save in order to regenerate the wallet at a later date? Im looking for a safe way to save an "Investment" wallet for long term storage.

Yes that is correct, you can generate a seed offline. IMO the best wallet to do that is Electrum. They have great documentation as well: electrum.readthedocs.io/en/latest/coldstorage.html Sparrow is another great wallet for that.
