So, you know when the Federal Reserve starts doing its thing, it's like the stock market suddenly perks up and starts doing the happy dance, right? It's wild how much influence those Fed pivots can have. Like, one minute, everyone's freaking out about interest rates and inflation, and then bam! The Fed makes a move, and suddenly, it's like the market just gets a shot of adrenaline. People start feeling more confident, investors get excited, and before you know it, stocks are on the rise again. It's like this crazy rollercoaster ride, but when the Fed pulls off a smooth pivot, it's like the coaster hits that sweet spot where you're just soaring. So yeah, keep an eye on those Fed moves-they're like the ultimate market mood setters!

The way modern fiat currencies work means a store of value will increases in price consistently over long periods of time due to monetary debasement. It's not a hard principle to understand. Joe and Tom thanks for the commentary. Andrew, think about the fact that there is value in a trust less, peer to peer payment system that you can send around the work with no middlemen assessing fees, that you also can have full control over. In its pure form it can’t be confiscated. Don’t think from a US perspective only. Think of the value in countries where governments can take your money / freeze your accounts or devalue your currency with hyper inflation. That is why it is so powerful in the most challenged economic environments.

It's incredible to me that Andrew Sorkin simply doesn't get it about bitcoin. His analogy about a car having utility just proves the very point he is arguing against. When cars started to be produced, relatively few people owned them, not seen as a great utility. They weren't seen as something having an immense economic value to society, but as time progressed, more and more, people began to see the usefulness of cars and their economic value to society. It all took time. It is the same with Bitcoin. It's a nascent asset. In time everyone will see plainly that it is an asset of immense value to society, including Andrew. If he could just see it now, and invest in it now, he would have no regrets in a few years.
