You are half right. When others are greedy you STILL buy. This is because we are still early in the adoption curve, unlike a traditional stock or real estate investment. You want to hold on to your BTC until full adoption. You will know that has occurred when most paychecks are denominated in btc. GL!

I got on the stacking train 2 months ago, and it is my desire to at least double this amount before the year ends. My immediate major goal is to hit 0.1 BTC, before the Bull run goes full swing. Bitcoin needs no convincing of anyone at this point, however we can only be inspired by people like yourself who keep bringing superior arguments over fiat sentiments. People think BTC and crypto in a more general meaning being (a store of value ) think that means it cannot go down. All it means is it will trend either sideways during a medium time frame and upwards in a long time frame versus fiat currency. It's still in a volatile market, especially since it's nacent, but the downward dips, whether during a bull or bear markets simply give you buying opportunities. The LARGEST problem with crypto is it attracts everyone who has no concept of how markets/ economies work and simply jump in with the false sense of hubris that they can input a few dollars and become millionaires over night. Because they read or hear hyperbolic stories that sound good but are usually missing key info, such as this person bought BTC in 2015 at 300, and now they are multi millionaires

Your real estate comparison is correct for BTC but the acceleration curve is already far greater than real estate, and will continue its upward trend. BUT real estate IS more utilitarian and will remain a strong investment. You cannot live in a BTC, Just sayin. Once the realization that BTC is undefeatable by the majority, world wide, it is a launch pad.

I would temporarily buy Bitcoin to move money to where I can buy gold and / or platinum or silver or other useful / trade able commodities that I need to survive . I would not but and hold Bitcoin for the long term . Bitcoin is still vulnerable to wars and electronic infrastructure destruction and we lose whatever Bitcoin we have . So use it like a boat to cross the river , but don't live in the boat , unless it's a luxury yacht in the ocean, then that's different.
