The only problem would be when you dont know your password. 2 Bitcoin can be seen as wealth (Māll) so it should the same rulling as any other wealth, Wa Allahu a'lam

why is digital currency haram ? bitcoin is not based on fiat money, you can also exchange gold (halal money) for bitcoin and vice versa. I understand what you mean by paper money, but bitcoin is not based on bank money

I totally disagree with you. Just answer me few things. Today I buy 1 coin at $100 and tomorrow it jumps to $300 and I sell it. Those $200 dollars that I have made belong to whom? And against what value? Second, How do you know, bitcoin can not disappear? How can you justify that there is no hidden master server? What if when your money and my money same paper money that you are earning by crypto business and on the other hand your are criticising is parked in a certain country and suddenly bitcoin gets disappear? Because its algorithms and they can be controlled without even your slight knowledge. Molana what about Gharrar factor? Why Rasullah s.a.w said don't trade rotten dates against good date. Its haram. Because rotten dates have no intrinsic value. May Allah guide you.

Its because Govts are printing more notes against same gold deposits and not increasing the value of money. 2) If in a population of 100 people against deposit of 1 KG gold govt issues 1000 dollars. Then govt should maintain this proportion, if govt prints 1000 dollars more against same 1KG gold they price of gold will be doubled. No supply and demand. Its failure at monetary policy. 3) There is a difference in case of bitcoins. If you regard it as a currency. Then it should act like a currency. If I bought a Car against 1 bitcoin for selling purpose and next day bitcoin drops 15% of its value than? How good is the use of bitcoin in trade. This is GHARAR and Gambling. The sales of my car on profit is speculative and even if someone comes with a bitcoin to purchase my car then ill sell it foe 5 to 6 bitcoins to earn profit and it means its acting more badly than fiat currency and market is inflated in a day. Islamically even fiat currencies are not treated as islamic because islamic currencies are dirham and dinar. A gold coin centuries old still holds value regardless of who issued it not like bit coin. Lastly, Currencies can not disappear. Just like that zimbabwe never lost the value in a day. It took time and reasons are not like server is hacked. Reasons are economic.

cryptocurrency by it self does not generate interest thats what attracted me to this new financial system. The only way you can generate interest on cryptocurrency is if you send it to a finance business which promises interest. If you buy bitcoin and have it in your wallet it will not increase or decrease based on interest at all yes the value in usd may fluctuate but you will not incur interest by holding cryptocurrency. This is my escape alhamdulilah from this corrupt finance system we all live in today.
