Anthony, I like bitcoin and I’m starting to accumulate and dollar cost average a big question I have is how does everybody know that there will be no more bitcoin after 21 million? How do we know there won’t be some update or change to the bitcoin code that will trigger when we hit 21 million and then it’ll give it another 10 million or something. Do we have definitive factual evidence for this if you can provide any feedback would be really appreciated

Bitcoin’s hard cap, also known as the supply limit, can theoretically be changed, however, such a change would be very unlikely to occur. There are incentive and governance models in the bitcoin protocol that protect the hard cap of 21 million coins. Also even if there was an agreement to increase the supply it wouldn't change the supply rate because of how mining works, so still 450 mined a day halving every for years, how long to mine the added increase? Easily over 1000 years. And would you be OK with more supply if it dilutes your investment.

Easy to be excited when we are in a massive bull run. Wonder how many people will still be excited when the inevitable crash comes? Last time we ran up to first time high of $70,000, we had 3 years before it came back and it crashed all the way to $12,000. I'm a Bitcoin maxamilist, but the entire market is insanely optimistic right now while real economic growth is low. Stay vigilant people, these kinds of massive gains always lead to massive losses for those who buy at a local maximum and don't have the faith, conviction, time, or money to wait years for the recovery.

What's crazy is this hasnt even begun to penetrate the average person's thinking, especially boomers who own most of the wealth. Every one I've spoken to still thinks it's a scam having something to do with SBF. I was even speaking to a few millennial techies who all thought btc is a bubble and were asking how to short it. If you follow this stuff closely, it's difficult to appreciate how early it still is.
