cryptocurrency is like a digital gold. you see gold value gone up up up and down down down and no body talk about that its haram similar to bitcoin. as of bitcoin, im a blockchain enthusiast for now half a year. And i can say that its sometime halal and sometime haram depending on how you use it. for example if you used for gambling obviously its haram, but if you use it for daily life business and trade its halal. So if you are not sure about cryptocurrency blockchain DeFi NFTs and decentralized Application, there is no need to claim that halal or haram becuase you gotta a dought about it. Sahil Sir answer is great that he is not sure about it.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Any currency assets not backed up by real asset having intrinsic value(e.g gold/silver) is doubtful. Further currency should be traded at real value of underlaying real asset. Same may hold true for crypto assets. Just my personal opinion.

Thus it has a number of features that are repugnant to Islamic Principles. Had it only been about trust, then people have trust on gambling and speculation too. But Islam does not permit these as well.

@@faisaljavaid5600 it has volatility because its a pure free market, and Gharar means "the sale of what is not yet present such as fish not yet caught and crops not yet harvested", and in crypto market you know all the necessary details to trade your crypto coins, bitcoins price is determined on many factors such as supply and demand, governance, cost of production, regulation etc etc, i get that it has volatility but its not forever, it has volatility because its a new technology with new concepts(tokenomics for example) that people are trying to figure out, so saying crypto is haram forever is bad idea and also you have to research A LOT on crypto, if you say crypto is haram then what about crypto wallets used for transactions? what about the blockchain itself? is that also haram? there are so many things to discover that muftis and molvis dont even care about such as PoS and PoW, token crypto asset etc

When you can.t say it.s haram so obviously it.s halal . Definately mulvis will point out haram things and when they can.t point out crypto that means it.s halal . 2nd if you do it without thinking than it.s haram. if you have knowlage and calculated entry in crypto than it.s halal
