There is one massive flaw with Jacks arguments: if you're going to create shares for things like ethereum, you are basically giving the SEC once again control over whatever may or may not get created. Tokens ARE the blockchain equivalent of shares to me. It is merely a different way of redirecting the flow of incoming value to the people investing in it for profit purposes. Poor people in Africa can buy ethereum. They can't buy SEC controlled stocks. PoS tech is better than tech stocks, but it aint money.

Proof of Work consensus and true decentralization were the attributes that allowed Bitcoin to truly pass that test. Pre-mines, ICO venture capitalist invenstments, and Proof of Stake have never fit that definition. Due to political pressure, the SEC caved and threw out the definition of the Howey test. It's wasn't begging to hope that the SEC follow the laws that they themselves set up.

The key is diversification. Personally, I delegate my investing to an advisor, cos my job doesn't permit the time to perform market analysis myself. Thankfully, my once ago stagnant portfolio has now 5X in barely 4 years, summing up almost 7 figure as of today.
