Suggest you learn English alongside your sons, watch local news and listen to local radios, go to library read magazines. Kids learn Cantonese easily off parents. Once in Rome do what the Romans do. Best of luck to you all!
Trash management is a terrible headache. If you don’t have a car or are not able to find a nearby collect center, it’s better to choose a flat which has a garbage room.

Wow, you are great! You can really enjoy the family lifestyle oversea. I've moved to US for more than 30 years, but I still cannot cook a full festive meal for friends and family.

I'm not really good at cooking as well, but i'll find some receipes on KZbin and Google 😜
English tv is a good medium to learn English. Not US ones have different accents. It should help you as well as speaking English as much as possible.

應該在尾時我哋返香港探家人,唔係話‘我哋返香港喇’,會令人唔解。

Whether you 打扮不打扮, dress up 👗or wear 👠 it is entirely your preference. Regardless of what other people wear. On the other hand, where you live is another factor. Be they affluent, middle to upper class suburb or deprived, high unemployment inner city, council estate. As for opportunities to dine out, there are plenty of choices too. Albeit, western cuisine rather than Chinese restaurants. Plenty of family style restaurants average £ 20-25 per head. Life in 🇬🇧 is not some secluded backwater.
