@@kavithamuthyapu1173 this time cutoffs dropped quite a lot. For BITS Hyd CSE you need atleast 280/390 to be safe. It is a difficult exam, not because the questions are tough but because you have to solve 130 questions in 180mins. Questions are roughly of jee mains level.

There are no hostel restrictions, besides an in-time of 2am-5am. You can leave the campus whenever you like- you just need to apply for outstation which is very easy to obtain. No outstation required for the weekends.

Classes are ONLY recorded at the Hyd Campus as of now. I was at the Pilani Campus for 10 days and they do not have this facility, but here in Hyderabad ALL lectures of ALL professors of EVERY subject are recorded, and uploaded on the same day.

Academics-wise more or less every branch is the same. The teachers of all the campuses are rotated at regular intervals. Moreover, they are given the option to choose whichever campus they want. Placement-wise, CSE's last year average package order was PILANI>HYDERABAD>GOA. So there you are!

Hi, I am currently a student here at the Hyd Campus, 22 Batch. To answer your question, it is always better to give both attempts of BITSAT because most people see a drastic increase in their scores when they give the second attempt. So even if your first attempt goes well, the cut-offs could increase after the second paper because avg scores go up. Also you have some time in between the 2 attempts, so you could always do better. Give both papers, if you ask me :) Looking forward to welcoming you all on campus this year!
