I am currently pursuing WILP btech in Process engineering. As this is not a traditional branch like mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering. And I want to go for Mtech through GATE. Do NIT and IITs consider this program?

90% it should get through Somya since no where in the degree certificate it will be mentioned as WILP. If someone of my juniors have faced it should have come to my notice but till date nothing! Currently I don’t have live examples to support but I would suggest to move this degree everywhere as REGULAR degree!

Hi Vishal E grade is the least pass grade not FAIL. NC means you have failed NOT CLEARED. Try to get higher grades in next exam since in order to get the final degree you should have more than 5.5 CGPA if you score E grade in more subjects this will surely result in not meeting the criteria and you have do redo some subjects with higher grade. One of my batch mate still struggling for degree he scored 5.2 CGPA at the end. Be careful👍

Hello Ajay here is my feedback for your doubts point wise 1. Quiz and Assignments are done at home so Open book only 2. Mid-term is closed book and Final exam is Open book 3. Failure is possible only when you absent yourself for the exam otherwise you will get the least pass grade 4. Syllabus you can manage no worries it’s not tough nor easy - MODERATE 5. Guidance from Lecturers are pretty good no doubts about the student support from BITS PILANI side 6. It depends on your company immediate promotion are not possible but you can opt for it in the later stages since you are MASTERS

Bits wilp is doing some unfair to students..... please don't take admission in bits wilp....they had debarred 70+ students in 2023 without giving justification & proof.......where the whole batch is did some malpractice/unfair means activities even evey year everyone will copy from WhatsApp in this institute but they randomly picked 70+ peoples and debarred please be careful....after Semester full payment they'll took against students.......most of the students lost their money 77k & time which they spent to bits

Yeah laptop would be needed but it is not mandatory. Some students also used to share the laptop with their friends so it depends. My recommendation would be to have a laptop throughout the course

The chances of failing is very less. Only if you absent yourself for the exam that subject alone will move to the next semester. If failed in one that subject will be transferred to next semester. And additional 3 new subjects alone will be added. One semester can hold only 4 subjects

No Vishnu that’s not correct. Did you do your BTech course under BITS PILANI WILP if yes you can add it as a work experience. If you are studying the whole period then 2 years is the work experience.
