Go for BE CS programs. But if he insists for MSC ECO, He can still get BE degree like CS , Mathematics and Computing according to his performance in the first year academics which would help him in placements, as having a knowledge in economics and finance helps CS students to get more easily to finance companies like JP Morgan, which pays 27-35 lakhs for freshers.
