Thanks Zig, I really think that the art and backstory are some of the coolest elements of KDM and so they were definitely something I wanted to highlight in the vids.

At 28:00, when you dash away at the break of the AI card (after picking target), the antelope then "Moves and attacks target". So dashing away wouldn't have helped (but you could have simply dodged the hit). Just letting you know as this will be important in more difficult fights. Also when the antelope (or another monster) collides with a survivor, they are just knocked down on their space (they don't get grabbed and dragged in front of the monster, which is something the White Lion specifically does).

Yeah, I think I was trying to force an example of dashing in combat, but you are right the move and attack would have caught up easily. And good call on the monster colide, this guys ain't no white lion at all :D

Another great video! The Screaming Antelope fight is quite tricky at times. I once fought him, got him down to 2 wounds and he pulled an AI card that healed most of his wounds back! What a nightmare! Regardless it's great fun and a much different fight to the White Lion. The introduction for the Screaming Antelope was very creepy! I loved it, really sets the atmosphere for each fight! Can't say I spotted any mistakes this time, well done! The only thing I noticed was moving survivors, you seemed to move them through others to get to certain spots. Unfortunately you can't move through survivors! Apart from that you played this very smoothly! Was nice to watch and enjoy as I'm suffering with the flu at the moment :( Was very happy to see this video pop up today! :D Your dilemma with the Open Maw event had me laughing so much, it was priceless! Poor Mawson! Open Maw is probably one of my favourite Settlement Events, it was one of the first ones I did when I first started playing KDM. I got extremely lucky with it, getting the Lantern Sword! Powerful weapon to get early on! Looking forward to the next video against the dreaded Butcher!

Open Maw dilemma was fun. I would go for 4-5 dice unless I really have survivors to burn (protect the young + collective toil after mid game)

Rules lawyer here! :) 10:45 - he can not go to the ore vein, he doesn't move through the other survivors 28:08 - the attack is not ignored. The monster has already picked Eva before the flow. After the flow and her dash, the card says Move&attack, so the antelope would've chased Eva Get the bandages and send out your best for the butcher!

Let's just say our survivors had a quick, last minute shop before heading out to meet the butcher - can't wait to put it up!

Hopefully we can pull off a Butcher kill and get back to some White Lion farming - need that armour!

At this point I’d consider simply jumping into antelope farming, and often if you are doing well (and willing to take some risk) it’s good to go with antelope lvl 2 straight after Butcher. But yeah it is risky, so only if you are ready.

Im just here, because I see nobody mentioned it... 1.The settlement event need to be done before development as IT is written down on Tracker and It must be resolved before the other Steps... 2. You could not use the last endevor point since on maw card (if you hit doubles you cannot spend any endevor this year) that means you would not spend 3 points neither the point on intimacy ... I believe, that this pretty much affected the game development for you to be easier:)
