Andrew Garfield is an INCREDIBLE actor and deserves more respect. Personally, he’s my favorite actor out of the three for the character. He might not have the best movies, but he just looks and acts exactly like the character. Like you said, his films just had some writing issues. That being said, I still find them more enjoyable than far from home and homecoming.

Andrew is the best actor to be spiderman in terms of acting skills and range. Tobey and tom are great but do not have that wide of an acting range and really just not as good actors, while they do have great performances outside the spiderman movies, there is a reason why andrew has been around hollywood for as long as he already is.

I might get a lot of heat for this one but imo Andrew Garfield had the best spiderman performance. To this day nothing tops that opening rhino fight scene in TASM2. He had the quips and delivery down perfectly. Even the scene of peter fumbling all clumsy like in oscorp. He was truly a great spiderman. It was the overall writing that was the series' downfall.

In all honesty, I thought he was a great Spider-Man. Just not a great Peter Parker. The Webb movies absolutely had their problems, but there was some stuff that they did really, really well (that bridge scene with Garf giving the kid his mask is still one of my favorite Spidey things ever).

Despite the bad writing I will still say Andrew is my number 1, but the first movie means so much to me, the time period and getting hardcore into figures a short time before it came out, like my craze for Spidey had personally never been higher. As much memories as I have with the Raimi movies, I wasn't collecting figures when those came out. And just the whole discovery of youtube figure reviewers and collectors, like it really all started with the lead up to Avengers coming out and deciding to finally watch Iron Man after I saw Cap's movie on tv. I remember saying to my buddy who at the time did see IM, Cap and Thor already that I couldn't believe I hadnt watched them yet as my childhood centered around Marvel (and DC) I was just still into my previous hobby and collecting scene, the horror movie stuff. So yeah The rush of getting back into figures and the movies being so amazing, the nostalgia I have for Avengers, like I also was still having a tough time going out and about due to my anxiety disorder and a long time ago had one of the worst panic attacks of my life in a theater. So my buddy and I getting back out there into the theater and seeing these superhero movies as they came out, and I was doing so well because I was so enthralled in the movie and probably hyped because we had just been toy hunting and I just cannot believe how long ago that all was, it boggles my mind. But yea that final swing in TASM encapsulates everything for me, the chills I got were unforgettable.

Tasm 1 is actually a great movie and I’d say is the most underrated spidey movie. There’s definitely some issues with it, but it’s honestly a really solid movie. It’s my second favorite live action spider-man film just behind spider-man 2.

In NWH he absolutely redeemed himself. He spoke, was akward and made jokes JUST like Peter from the comics. You could tell out of all the spidermen actors he was the happiest to wear the suit again

Tom is my favourite movie Spidey, but Andrew is a very close second - As you say Shartimus, let down only by the abysmal writing. Alex Kurtzman, Destroyer of Worlds, brought the Amazing Spider-Man movies to the ground with number 2, just as he destroyed the Dark Universe series with Tom Cruise's The Mummy film; he then went on to stamp his hack writing all over Star Trek, grinding that into the ground as well. Failing upward is clearly a thing in Hollywood... But I really like this figure! I dodged the 3-pack, so these single releases are great for me. A great head-sculpt of Andrew, and a nice lanky body; a really good figure! (And yes, I did shed a tear when I saw all three Spidey's onscreen together for the first time - Now that's writing!). :)

I found this exact figure on 11/25/23 at a Target. When I go to self checkout, it wouldn't and an associate scan it to find out it's street dated for the next day 11/26/23. Needless to say, I never found this figure again at any of my Targets.

I might be in the minority, but Garfield is my favorite Spidey so this figure was my most anticipated (next to Green Goblin) At first I was bummed that I missed out on the 3 pack (I honestly thought I had lost out on Garfield forever), but with the lack of civilian head sculpts and no "final swing" suit I'm glad I waited.

I bought the three pack knowing they'd re-release them. Haven't even opened the three pack because I'm waiting for this. Like you I am upset that they even had to release them separately but I think it had to do with the legal issues of the likeness of Andrew Garfield still being owned by Sony and ergo having to be put out under "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" banner.

What makes me mad is if you want a complete figure for all 3 with everything you need both the 3 pack and single carded figures. Cause if you get single carded you're missing hands and the web lines, but if you get the 3 pack You're missing heads. Just getting either you lose, but I already got the 3 pack and is 3 heads really worth 75 extra bucks, I don't think so.

TASM 1 writing is good but TASM 2 was inconsistent. Even despite their flaws, the good outweighs the bad. They are enjoyable. Great figure by the way. I would say SH Figuarts Andrew Garfield figure is better. Its more movie accurate Definitely agree that Hasbro should give us updated figures for Electro and Lizard for Marvel Legends

I never got the 3 pack because of the cost and then I really didn’t want the 3 pack when it was revealed no unmasked heads. Apparently there was a liscensing issue as to why they couldn’t include an Andrew head in the 3 pack. SH figuarts had to remove their Andrew head from their version too.

Seeing as both of my 3 pack Tobey and Andrew had weird paint on both the bodies and head I appreciate these new releases since I was able to get better looking ones. I have noticed that it’s very difficult to put the masked heads on those 2, haven’t even tried the new Tom yet

I brought the three pack months ago even though I knew they were re releasing Tobey and Andrew. Luckily no qc issues with Tobey and Andrew just Tom from the three pack (one of the eyes had a tiny red misprint under the black lenses and a black slosh on the gold spider symbol). I’m glad I got the three pack for the extra hands but I’m not gonna spend $48 dollars for just the unmasked heads I think I’ll get them off on EBay in the future.

You guys seriously need to stop with all that "Tobey best Peter, Andrew best Spidey" bs, for real, I mean, have any of you read any of the so called classical issues (Lee-Ditko era)? What is so "cool" of the Andrew portrayal that the original character didn't have? He had that nerdy look for like what, 3 or 4 issues if I remember correctly and after that he stopped wearing glasses (I think Flash broke them or smth). You need to remember that this was the guy who literally went to fight Johnny Storm over some girls, this was the guy who dated beauties like Liz Allen, Betty Brandt, Gwen Stacy, etc, he was never supposed to be "ugly" neither, in fact girls of his school thought he was pretty handsome but wouldn't date him because they thought he was a nerd. Andrew was the best movie adaptation Spiderman (and yes that obviously includes Peter Parker) and Tobey the worst (although he is my favorite), you need to stop thinking of Peter and Spidey as two different "personalities"..... and no, I don't care what Stan Lee says, Spiderman is more Ditko's than Lee's anyway (90-10 I would say) and the guy literally said to each one of the three actors they were "exactly like the comics" so his opinion on that matter is of no importance.

My opinion about this 3 spidermans: Most accurate Peter Parker and Spider-Man PHYSICALLY: Andrew Garfield looks more like Peter Parker from the comics and also his suit from Spider-Man 2 look more alike like to the spider man from the comics. Most accurate Peter Parker and Spider-Man to the comics as a whole like personality and history: Tobey Maguire I don’t need to explain, it just obvious. The least accurate in terms of abilities: Tobey because he have organic web shooters. Tom Holland is fine in his own way even if he is the least accurate Spider-Man, he is the nowadays Spider-Man he had great movies too. I think marvel and Sony wanted to make something a lil different with the Tom holland Spider-Man instead of repeating Spider-Man’s history over and over again.

Spider-Man is a character that has been around for 60+ years all 3 are accurate in their own ways. Tom’s the most accurate in terms of character traits, character growth, morals and personality to Peter and Spider-Man from the comics. Tom Spider-man is very similar to the 616 and Ultimate. Tom definitely has the least accurate side characters like Ned, Happy, MJ, Flash and even Aunt May is younger. Tom is the most accurate physically to the 1960’s Spider-man. Tobey has the most accurate characters and stories, origin story and villain origin stories but Tobey as Spider-Man wasn’t a very accurate to Spider-man due to how he never quipped and wasn’t witty as Spider-Man. Tobey is the most accurate physically to the 1970’s Spider-man. Andrew’s origin and stories are very accurate to the Ultimate Spider-man but his personality and morals are not accurate AT ALL! Andrew said he stopped “pulling his punches” in No way home, implying he killed people which Spider-man would never do. He also became Spider-man out of revenge which didn’t happen in the comics. Andrew is the most accurate physically to the mid-late 1980’s Spider-man.

Tobey and Tom have square face shape and every Peter you mentioned from the comics since the 60’s to present looks more like Andrew Garafield just with different hair styles according to the era of the comics. Peter Parker don’t have square face shape he have rectangle face shape, the point is that Peter have a longer face something that Andrew have but not Tom and Tobey. Just in case I’m not saying that this two actors cannot portrait being Peter Parker I’m only saying that the most accurate face of Peter Parker according to every comic is Andrew.

I don't know what's the deal with these heights, but they are off the mark. The Goblin is the tallest, but Wilem Dafoe's only 5'9", compared to Andrew's 5'10". Tom is 5'7", and Tobey's 5'8". What's with the scaling?

3:11 Because this is how he looked in No Way Home. 0:04 This hairstyle matches his NWH hair. In TASM2 his hair was shorter at the sides, less wavy, and more straight up. Since they marketed this as a TASM2 figure, they should've included a blue backpack, camera, and a skateboard.

I mean I'm not that frustrated like they messed up Hobgoblin. It is a little bummer, but well isn't it kinda obvious? Of course they did not give full sets of hands cause the 3pack wouldn't be selling at this point I guess, and If someone wants Tom in final battle suit I guess after market is an option. It's always nice to have more accessories. But full sets of hands are much more important to me than unmasked head which if I'm being honest I wouldn't use that much on display. They could give pointing finger hands and some cure for villains that would be actually dope. But of course they had to relase the 3pack and earn more money. So it's not suprising for me in this case. At least 3pack is good at this point, we can recreate famous final battle, and full sets of hands give much more dynamics. And of course these carded relases doesn't change the fact that these figures are straight killer and definetly one of the best ML of the year. Tobey is my Number 1 of this year and I guess no one can beat him at this point.
