Actually very true. Many times people will sing praise for Toyota's or Honda's reliability, but that comes from the fact that there car are simpler and less complex. Toyota more so. But its more of a trade off, do you want mighty premium experience with lots of automation and features, or do you want something reliable. Everyone will have their preference. In India, for example, Honda or Suzuki's 1.5 NA will last longer compared to VW group 1.5 Turbo, but then it's not as fun as the later. And this too is right, Land Rover tries to match complexity with BMW or Mercedes, where the Germans never market their vehicles as hardcore offroader, but LandRover does. And the more you abuse the system the more its bound to fail.

I purchased RR Sport and its best car I have ever had. I had Merc, BMW before but RR is on another level. Servicing is no more costly than Merc but you get more for your money. Be sensible and get extended warranty. Treat it well and you will be fine.

Well made video and good explanation as well. The original land rover with removable doors and winch in the front and diesel engine, 4 wheel drive with differential locks is legendary. There was some association with Leyland in the days before BMW acquired it I think. Consider making a video on DAF trucks

My Hexa is running strong since 5 years. Already clocked 1.2 lakh kms. It's built like a tank too. You suzuki fanboys can only cry about Tata's reliability by watching a handful of issues on youtube. There are long term ownership videos of Nexons doing 2.5-3 lakh kms on youtube. You can check. Forget build quality, most of suzuki shitboxes have pathetic steering dynamics, not so stable at high speeds, poor comfort, undewhelming ride quality and lastly cheap body materials which start rattling after 1 year.

Well I have had a lot of problem with EKA code lock down with my discovery 2. And luckily that's the only big problem till now else everything is great about this vehicle. According to some sources online this model has problems with piston rings but till now no problem at all has ran for 79000 miles almost flawlessly (please convert to km if you need). I also have Pajero Gen 1 so most of the times Pajero is in use so this vehicle is not used too much compared to people who daily drive
