Honestly I use the Compressor and the Gate quite often cuz I'm a little bit lazy, but I agree with EQ+, Tool, Grid and Delay in Bitwig are awesome.

6:20 Upon getting Bitwig demo I found myself using EQ-2 way more than I expected for rudimentary tasks when playing with crazy effects chains: it takes up an infinitesimal amount of screen (and brain) space, it's simple and straight to the point, plus you could always upgrade if necessary. Though now that I think about it filter would probably do the do a better job half the time. 😭

Delay-4 is fantastic, input fx-chain is such a nice detail so that you can shape the first repeat and not just with the feedback chain. I really must start to setup Bitwig delays more rather than reaching for my vst collection :)

I know! I think we are all guilty if underestimating stock plugins cause we want to use that expensive Delay we bought! haha

I didnt really get your criteria on where to put them. Is it about how useful they are/ how often you need to use them, or more about how much you want to use them in terms of its creative potential. To me first one got to be The Grid man just endless possibilities, thats just objectivley the best plugin.

hey! there is just a website with templates for it I'll find it when I'm on the PC! the fx pictures I had to make individually myself! thank you!

Interesting, I prefer the normal compressor to the dynamic compressor because it has the makeup function.

Your ranking seems defensible. I understand why you dislike peak limiter, there's almost no control, but I find it's useful and sounds good for what it is. I think it's very good for beginners, but that's not your viewpoint. So I understand. Fun to hear your opinions. Thanks.

I find the limiter stands out for how basic it is amongst everything else, it's fine for what it is, but compared to the rest of the devices it falls short!
