Hey, Acererak player from the game here. I love this game for showing how hard the matchup is and how you need the right interactions for it. It's the perfect example of how having everything your deck want except for the cards you have to get in the matchup isn't working. Usually, the way you handle the matchup is either you disrupt them enough and bait counterspells to either racing with the combo (which is harder to make work) or sticking a Necro Enchantment. By experience, these give a draw engine on par with what Atraxa decks can do, and single-handedly evens the matchup. The reason I didn't get it was either I could race the combo (I think I had both halves of it in my starting hand and drew another piece in the first draw step), or the tutor spell got countered. You really want more discard against an Atraxa deck, but instead you can get the removals that are good for aggressive matchups, but not here. (Also : you did get right the reasoning behind the name of the deck Las Ketchup ^^ I was supposed to have themed sleeves but had to switch them last minute before tournament because of issues)

Hallo Community! I love the videos. Duel Commander has become really popular at my LGS. My friends know I work as a German teacher so when they told me about a duel commander channel from some German creators, I found you guys and immediately subscribed 🧡. I use Magic as a teaching tool in my classroom and we just started a Magic club at my school. Keep up the awesome work! P.s. I think that the playmat used in these videos is so cool! I audibly gasped when I saw that it has the words “Elsaß-Lothringen” printed on it! Who manufactured the mat? Is there a way I could purchase one of those mats? 👀 Thanks!

I think he did good, it's rather that Atraxa had unlimited answers tbh :D
